The assignment was to travel through 7
European countries, photographing 14
designer outlet centers for London-based
McArthur Glen, Europe’s largest developer
of these malls.
With camera, tripod and computer bags,
along with a huge suitcase, I embarked on
a 7-1/2 week solo odyssey.
Days were spent shooting, or travelling to
the next destination; evenings after dinner
allowed me to process the day’s take and
post web galleries for the clients as I went
from center to center.
From my perspective, the Italians had the best
sense of style, witness the lady in the red
dress who oh-so-conveniently paused
in front of my camera!
